Safety & Security

Both the 2018 Jaguar Sportbrake and the 2018 Porsche Panamera are equipped with frontal and side-impact air bags, antilock brakes, electronic stability system, and traction control, as well as a host of driver assistance features. However, the Jaguar Sportbrake has a few additional safety features that are absent in the Porsche Panamera.Â
The Jaguar Sportbrake comes with an optional cross-path warning system that uses wide-angle radar to detect vehicles approaching from the side to help you avoid collisions. Additionally, it has a driver alert monitor that sounds a warning when you feel sleepy or lose attention while driving.
Luxury & Convenience
The 2018 Jaguar Sportbrake comes standard with a remote vehicle starting system that enables you to start it from inside your house. With this feature, you can warm up the engine and cabin before you enter the vehicle.
In addition, the station wagon offers an optional heads-up display that projects speed information and navigation instructions in front of you so that you can view the information without taking your eyes off the road. Heated windshield washer nozzles are also available as an option on the Sportbrake. These nozzles do not freeze and help keep the windshield clear during winter. The 2018 Porsche Panamera does not have these features.
Measurements
If you need to drive regularly in an urban area, you'll appreciate the 2018 Jaguar Sportbrake. At 3.8 inches shorter than the 2018 Porsche Panamera, it is easier to maneuver and park in tight quarters. It is also significantly lighter than the Porsche Panamera, making it more fuel efficient and easier to handle. The Sportbrake can be a better vehicle choice for transporting your family because it can seat up to five passengers. The Panamera, however, can seat only four.
Warranty
The 2018 Jaguar Sportbrake comes with a full five-year or 60,000-mile basic warranty. This warranty covers every part of the vehicle and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The 2018 Porsche Panamera, however, offers a four-year or 50,000-mile basic warranty. Jaguar vehicle owners will also get complimentary maintenance for five years and 60,000 miles. Porsche offers free maintenance for only one year and 10,000 miles.
Despite its impressive performance, practicality, and feature content, the 2018 Jaguar Sportbrake compared to the 2018 Porsche Panamera offers some pricing considerations that drivers will want to pay attention to.
